GRANT APPLICATION

In 2022, we awarded grants to Cheer, Dance and Spirit Squad.  We are excited to see how Dads' Club can help our students for the 2022-2023 school year.  


If your team, club or group could benefit from a Dads' Club grant, please review the guidelines below and submit an application.

GRANT GUIDELINES AND APPLICATION

Grant Eligibility

Grant requests must meet all of the following requirements before consideration will be given:
 

  • The applicant organization must be an official Bishop Dunne sport, arts program, arts curriculum, or club.
  • Funds must benefit Bishop Dunne students.
  • The organization must include a Bishop Dunne faculty/coach sponsor.
  • Application must be completed and submitted by Bishop Dunne students with approval and assistance from sponsor.

Grant Requirements 

  • Complete application.
  • Submit details on total cost and amount needed.
  • Provide a brief summary detailing how the funds will be used and how the students will benefit.
  • Grants must include key dates and times on when grant funds are needed.  For example, if Student Council is requesting grant for photo booth for Homecoming, grant must include date of event and date deposit or payment is needed. 
  • If awarded the recipient must recognize Dads’ Club through one or more of the following: logo on club collateral or promotional items, banners, social media posts, emails, newsletters, etc.

Deadline:  applications are currently OPEN for first semester of 2022-2023 school year but will be awarded based on availability of funds ​ 

Grant Amount  ​There is no limit to amount requested through application.  Grants awarded will vary in size based on availability of funds.  Funds are limited; therefore, not all requests can be honored.   In some cases, we may award only a partial amount requested and ask applicants to provide details on how the remaining money will be raised (i.e. fundraising) and by what day.  In these scenarios, the Dads’ Club will hold awarded amount in reserve until fundraising is complete.  Dads’ Club will only award grants for one time request and cannot consider multi-year grants at this time.  ​ 

Selection Process ​The Grant Committee will review all applications and will make a decisions on behalf of the entire Dads’ Club.  If your organization needs more information or there is a need to present, we will contact you with more information. ​ 

Application Process ​If you feel your organization is eligible for a grant from the Dads' Club and would like to apply for a grant, please complete and submit the following application.
